Introduction
The company’s history stretches back to 1962, when Bonù Srl was created. Bonù Srl swiftly established itself as a reputable provider in the sector, specializing in the construction of dies and tooling.
The creation of Agla Srl in 1977 marked the beginning of a new chapter. This new enterprise was motivated by a clear vision: to become the sole provider of press forming and forging. Agla Srl intended to provide great quality and precision to its consumers by focusing solely on these areas.
History
As the company grew, it realised the need to broaden its product offering in order to fulfill market expectations. Steel pulleys and monolithic pulleys were introduced in response. These enhancements provided a more practical alternative to the heavy components and costly products manufactured by previous casting procedures.
Achievements
Building on this accomplishment, Agla Srl expanded its manufacturing capacity significantly. It established its foundation by manufacturing high-quality poly-V pulleys, distribution pulleys, and TVD pulleys, as well as hubs and external rings. These pulleys were directly roll-formed from sheet metal coils using Agla Srl’s revolutionary and exclusive technique. The company’s innovative approach to manufacturing resulted in the successful patenting of this technology.
AGLA takes pride in its entire approach to production, designing, developing, and producing all in-house tooling and fixtures required for component manufacturing.
AGLA’s Press Shop has a variety of presses ranging in size from 30 tons to 650 tons, allowing for efficient production processes. The Machining Department, which includes 19 CNC machines, complements these capabilities by allowing for precise and high-quality machining processes.
A selection of machinery has been incorporated into a completely automatic operating link as part of continuous improvement, increasing productivity for series production with larger quantities.
Because of its exclusive technology, Agla has established itself as a leading supplier of a wide range of pulleys.
Agla pulleys have distinguishing qualities that set them apart:
Diameters range from 50 to 350 mm, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of applications.
Up to ten grooves can be accommodated, providing for a wide range of belt arrangements.
The thickness of the material ranges from 2.5 mm to 6 mm, ensuring durability and performance.
